We recently repaired a historic chimney on a house in Peterborough, Ontario.

We decided to rebuild the chimney using lime mortar, which is better for old buildings because it's flexible and breathable.
This choice strengthened the chimney and helped it last longer.
We also chose bricks that matched the original look of the house and added a proper cap to protect it.
The homeowners were very happy with the beautiful and sturdy new chimney that kept their home's historic charm.
